Ascension Men's Team
The Ascension Men's Volleyball team is one of eleven Tier 1 teams competing in the Volleyball League of America
Ascension's first event of 2025 was the West Divison Cup in San Diego, CA on Jan 4-5. They went 2-0 in pool play before falling to a tough Dallas Dawgs team in the first round of bracket play
Their next event is West Division Event #1 in Phoenix, AZ against the other two West division teams: Dallas Dawgs and SoCal Rising Tide The 2024 season was a very successful season for Ascension as they finished tied for third at the VLA Championships in June.
Many of Ascension's starters have returned for the 2025 season including Middle Blocker Jonathan Bishop who has been named to the All VLA First Team for the last two seasons, and Outside Hitter Turner Douglass who was just named to the all VLA Second Team.
